Finding Breath & Flexibility
Improve your range of motion and reduce strain by bringing awareness to how you move. Whether you want to touch your toes more easily, turn and twist, reach further, or deepen an asana, this class is for you.
An action-packed workout. This class is a combination of cardio, boxing, marital arts and drills providing a total body workout which aims to improve strength, endurance, speed, flexibility, coordination and balance. Come try one of the most popular fitness trends and kick, jab, cross, hook and uppercut your way to a fitter you! This intense workout will make you sweat.
Instructor’s choice of freestyle core. Exercises and movements focus on all major muscles from the hips to the hips. Great for all levels!
Whether your Tween is training for a sports team, has lots of energy, or is looking to get into shape, this is the class for them! We have taken the fundamentals of Cardio/Strength and Mind/Body and have created a weekly rotation of the two for this Youth Group Exercise Class to ensure total body wellness. The class will help build strength, agility, balance, flexibility and self-esteem!
A certified instructor will lead an athletic based exercise program for the cyclist within us all. Class times vary between 45- and 60-minutes. Water bottles are required and heart rate monitors are recommended.
Turn and Burn
This SPIN Combo class combines an intense spinning workout with core exercises to complete the workout. Classes begin with a spinning ride and then finish with an abs session that will tighten and tone core muscles. With the incorporation of energy, cardio, and strength this class will provide you the complete package to set you up for success!

This freestyle kickboxing class provides a fun and challenging opportunity to learn and practice kickboxing and other martial arts techniques against bags. The class is designed to increase cardiovascular conditioning, muscular tone and overall fitness. Includes drills against bags, fitness conditioning, an engaging group environment, and great music. *Gloves strongly recommended.
A Chinese system of physical exercises that is believed to facilitate the flow of Qi (life force) in the body, promoting good health and vitality. Tai Chi utilizes movements that are Yin Yang; opposites: Softness and strength, forward and backwards, as well as action and calm.

Pilates Basic Mat
Start here! Class focus is to build a strong foundation in the fundamentals of Pilates. It includes a series of exercises on a mat, emphasizing quality over quantity.
Pilates Mat with Props: Props, such as the power circle, hand weights, and bands, provide wonderful feedback to the body. By using props, a deeper understanding of alignment, muscle activation, and centering is achieved. Fundamental and basic mat work is challenged in this all level class.
Pilates Basic/Intermediate Mat Class: Appropriate for the first timer and the experienced student, basic/ intermediate mat classes break down each Pilates exercise while providing a challenge through pace or variation.
Pilates Intermediate Mat: Once you have the basics down, take your practice to a higher level. In this class you will progress basic moves, challenging your core muscles, balance, control, and cardio level. Work is done at a faster pace and knowledge of the basic mat routine is helpful.
BeBad Hip Hop
This class will have you moving to some of the most current and trendy Hip Hop songs in a fun and freeing dance class. Cardio Srength Fusion
This freestyle and circuit formatted workout will target your entire body with cardio and strength training. The interval-based nature of Cardio Strength Fusion will keep you moving and sweating and best of all, it keeps the body guessing week after week.
Yoga at Miramont Lifestyle Fitness brings you an authentic Yoga experience, while providing a non-intimidating space for people of any ability level and understanding of Yoga to attend classes. Our intention is to provide instruction geared toward all levels of Yoga to help you develop your practice within our studios.
This is a great beginner class for new Yogis! Instructor will break down different postures such as Sun Salutations, Chaturanga, etc. This class will also include lots of great modifications for the more challenging poses so that members can feel better equipped to attend any PowerFlow (Vinyasa) class.
PowerFlow 1 Yoga
Participants will explore the basics of Power Flow Yoga. Sequences will link movement with breath and challenge your strength, balance, and flexibility while helping to center and calm your mind. All Levels welcome. This class is geared toward the participant who is brand new, newer or getting back into yoga who is seeking a more athletic, upbeat pace of yoga class.
PowerFlow Yoga 2
Participants will build upon their knowledge of Power Flow Yoga in this energizing, intermediate level class. Sequences will link movement with breath and challenge your strength, balance and flexibility while helping to center and calm your mind. The pace is steady and rhythmic. All levels are welcome. This class is geared toward the participant who has is intermediate or advanced and seeking a more athletic, upbeat pace yoga class.
OptimalAlignment Yoga 1
Participants will explore the yoga basics focused on alignment principles that honor breath within each posture. Strength, balance and coordination will be challenged. All levels are welcome. This class is geared toward the participant who is brand new, newer or getting back into yoga.
OptimalAlignment Yoga 2
Participants will build upon their knowledge of Optimal Alignment Yoga in this intermediate level class. With an emphasis on breath, participants will explore the alignment of yoga poses one after the other working towards more intermediate and advanced poses. Strength, balance and coordination will be challenged. All levels are welcome. This class is geared toward the participant who is intermediate or advanced who is seeking to challenge themselves and their practice.
Participants will take their fitness to the next level with this highly athletic class. Incorporates hand weights and cardio bursts with traditional and cutting edge yoga postures to create a dynamic experience. This is an intermediate level class. Prior yoga experience is encouraged.
Participants looking for a restorative way to relax, unwind and restore their mind, body and spirit will enjoy this class. This class focuses on gently stretching and healing the connective tissue by using breath, gravity, straps, blankets and blocks to disengage and relax into postures held from one to five minutes. All levels are welcome.
Barre Fitness is a fast, effective way to change your body! Barre Fitness utilizes small, isometric movements to quickly and effectively change the shape of your body. The classes are based on the popular barre technique that has evolved from the Lotte Berk Method, Callanetics, Yoga and Pilates. The ballet barre is used for support and stability while muscles are pushed to exhaustion using light weights and balls for different challenges- followed by a series of stretches. No two classes are ever the same so you will be challenged every time. Poise, Balance, Strength!
This unique style of barre is an energetic, fun workout that fuses fitness techniques from Dance, Pilates, and Yoga. It will tone and define the whole body. No dance experience necessary. This method brings cardio, flexibility, core and strength training into one results based class. Class size is limited and a pass is required to participate.
Freestyle Senior specialty classes offered through the week for the young at heart. These classes offer variety! Enhance your quality of life by maintaining strength, balance, joint flexibility and endurance: step/ strength, circuit training, core conditioning and cardio.
Forever Fit-Chi Ball
In Chinese medicine chi means life force. When our vital energy (or chi) flows freely, the mind, body and spirit work harmoniously. Chi Ball is a fun, gentle and easy-to-follow class that calms the mind and improves balance, posture, concentration and flexibility. Breath work taken from Pilates, Tai Chi and Yoga.
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.
SilverSneakers® Muscular Strength & Range of Movement (MS/ROM)
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance, as well as a chair for seated and / or standing support.
SilverSneakers Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.
Get Up & Go with an aerobics class that’s safe, heart-healthy and gentle on the joints. The workout includes easy-to-follow low-impact movement, and upper-body strength, abdominal conditioning, stretching and relaxation exercises designed to energize your active lifestyle.
Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball is alternated with low-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is used for standing support, stretching and relaxation exercises.
A great class for the beginner or Senior Zumba student. This class moves slower than a regular Zumba class and breaks down choreography for the comfort, fun and ease of the participant.
The Master’s Swim program is for experienced adult swimmers. The class is for those who desire to improve their fitness level, to train for a special event, or to have the support and motivation provided by exercising with a group. workouts reach 3000 yards during the hour. Having basic swimming skills is a prerequisite, and we recommendation that newcomers to the class be able to swim at least 500 yards (10 laps / 20 lengths) without stopping and be able to repeat 100’s on a 2:00 minute interval.
Master’s Swim Lite
Master’s Lite is a lighter version of Masters. We focus on technique with a balance of speed and endurance. Workouts are between 2000 – 2500 yards during the hour. This is a goal – not everyone will complete the entire workout. Having basic swimming skills is a prerequisite with the recommend that newcomers be able to swim at least 200 yards (4 laps / 8 lengths) without stopping.
SwimFit is a class that incorporates lap swimming and CrossFit exercises. The class includes a technique section and a swimming/crossfit section.
Water Fitness Classes
Aqua fitness is for everyone. Come experience a low to non-impact workout in the pool that focuses on strength, cardio, endurance, and range of motion. Let our certified instructors engage, energize and inspire you with a variety of less joint-jarring workouts.
Specialized Swim Classes
Silver Splash Swim
Activate your aqua exercise urge for variety! Silver Splash offers lots of fun and shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required and various types of equipment are used to develop strength, balance and coordination.
Low Intensity Swim Classes
The Aqua Fit class is a well-rounded form of exercise for all ages and levels of exercise. The water provides an environment that protects exercisers from the impact of traditional aerobics, making it easier on the joints. The resistance of the water allows you to improve muscle tone while you work the cardiovascular system. Water allows exercisers to multi task, targeting several regions in the body simultaneously. Flexibility and balance / core strength are also addressed in this class.
High Intensity Swim Classes
Intervals Swim Class
Alternating cardio and strength training for a full body workout. Class is taught at medium to high-intensity with modifications offered for lower intensity. Equipment is used for strength training with focus on the core and major muscle groups. Exercises are adapted for those who want to stay in deep water.
Deep H20 Power Swim Class
This class takes the traditional Deep H20 class and pumps it up! This class is for those looking for a more aggressive cardio workout combined with periods of toning.
