Positions

  • Club Attendant

    We are currently looking for A+ men and women who will engage, energize, and inspire our members and team!  As a Club Attendant, you will work with the Housekeeping department to support and ensure our members have a clean, friendly, and on-brand experience each visit.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Maintaining locker room/club cleanliness & organization
    • Cleaning equipment
    • Sweeping & mopping
    • Vacuuming
    • Dusting of horizontal surfaces (high & low)
    • Stocking supplies & towels
    • Laundering of towels, sheets, and mats
    • Trash removal
    • Power washing & leaf removal
    • Window & mirror cleaning
    • Auto-scrubbing courts & studios

    Qualifications

    • Must have a high level of engagement with members and the Team
    • Must be comfortable embracing an intentional business culture focused on character development & effective communication
    • Must be available to work 3 days & 14 hours/week minimum
    • Must be available to work nights, holidays, and weekends
    • Hours vary; shifts start as early as 4:45am and go as late as 10:30pm

  • Group Fitness Instructor

    As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will work the the Group Fitness Department and report to Jenny, the Group Fitness Manager.  You will be expected to be available and willing to teach at all Miramont locations.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • You will arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class and ensure studios are clean when leaving.
    • You will provide a superior member experience and maintain positive relationships with members to encourage continued class attendance.
    • You will maintain the required certifications to teach.
    • You will log classes and work orders and respond to emails in a timely manner.
    • You will participate in meetings as required held both during the day and evenings.
    • You will adhere to our subbing policies and systems.
    • You will attend other instructors classes so as to show support and further develop your own learning and understanding of our offerings and culture.
    • You will participate and support company goal driven systems.

    Qualifications

    • General Group Fitness certification required at minimum OR brand specific certification required (Les Mills, Zumba, 200 hour RYT for Yoga, etc.)
    • Autoship/ZIN/Recertification through CEC’s is required to stay active.
    • CPR/FA/AED
    • Prior Group Fitness teaching experience is preferred

  • Licensed Massage Therapist

    As a massage therapist you have the choice to work at either our South or North locations or a combination of both. You will report to Jolee, spa coordinator. The expectation is to be educated and proficient in sports, Swedish, deep tissue, and neuromuscular therapy techniques.  Taking ownership and being conscious of your schedule as well as the cleanliness of your room are likewise a requirement.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Deliver a superior spa experience to all clients
    • Perform an integrative massage customized to meet the client’s expectations
    • Desire to grow as a therapist
    • Perform spa related duties including: cleaning room, restocking supplies, filing intake forms and taking treatment notes
    • Educate clients on at home care techniques in order to prolong the treatment
    • Monitor and maintain your schedule
    • Support the cleanliness and orderliness of spa facilities

    Qualifications

    • Be a licensed massage therapist
    • Be a team player
    • Possess basic computer skills
    • Monitor and address safety with clients
    • Be energetic and self-motivated to grow and maintain clientele
    • Be available to work a minimum of 15 hours each week
    • Be available to work at least one shift until 8pm per week
    • Be available to work at least 12 hours per month on the weekend
  • Climbing Group Host

    As a Climbing Group Host, you will work with the Climbing Department and report to the Climbing Wall Manager to support members and guests at the North Club location during educational group climbs and birthday parties.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Monitor and address safety
    • Maintain proficiency with various techniques/devices used in climbing
    • Provide supervision to all participants
    • Educate each participant on safety and provide an energetic climbing experience

    Qualifications

    • Must be proficient in top-rope belaying and lead belaying
    • Must be able to work evenings and weekends
  • Wall Monitor

    As a Wall Monitor, you will work with the Climbing Department and report to the Climbing Wall Manager to support members and guests at the North Club location to ensure the safety of all climbers.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Monitor and address safety
    • Maintain proficiency with various techniques/devices used in climbing
    • Actively monitor and perform top-rope belay and lead certifications
    • Monitor and address spinning holds
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment
    • Engage with members and guests; actively track member feedback and communicate this with the Climbing Wall Manager

    Qualifications

    • Must be proficient in top-rope belaying and lead belaying
    • Must be able to work evenings and weekends
  • Climbing Instructor

    As a Climbing Instructor, you will work with the Climbing Department and report to the Climbing Wall Manager to support members and guests at the North Club educating individuals on various climbing skills and techniques.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Monitor and address safety
    • Maintain proficiency with various techniques/devices used in climbing
    • Provide supervision and training to all participants
    • Educate each participant on safety, proper climbing/belaying techniques and communication

    Qualifications

    • Must be proficient in top-rope belaying and lead belaying
    • Must be able to work evenings and weekends
  • Lifeguard

    As a lifeguard, you will work with the aquatics department and report to the head lifeguard and aquatics manager. You will work with the lifeguard team in keeping the pool safe and clean for members.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide immediate assistance, rescue, or care as needed for members at the pool in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the emergency action plan.
    • Be competent with emergency procedures, pool policies, and health codes applicable to the Aquatics Department and club at large.
    • Complete all necessary paperwork and record keeping: incident reports, attendance and safety logs, and chemical level checks.
    • Directly support in the maintenance of a safe, clean, and chemically balanced pool.
    • Attend scheduled team meetings.

    Qualifications

    • Must be passionate about Aquatics, engaging with club members and working with a Team.
    • Must hold a current Lifeguard certification and complete CPR and First Aid training.
    • Must be at least 15 years old.
    • Must be able to work days, evenings and weekends as scheduled.
    • Must have reliable transportation to and from the club.
  • Cafe Server, Bartender & Food Prep

    As a Server, Bartender  or Food Prep Team member, you will work in the Café department to support the seasonal food and beverage program that operates poolside at the South club. Our goal is to impact the lives of our members and guests daily by providing exceptional customer service, quality food and beverage options, and engaging poolside programming.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Deliver a superior experience to both members and non-members through execution of lunch and dinner service at the poolside cafe.
    • Prepare food and beverage orders, deliver orders to members and guests, accept payment, bus tables, and wash dishes.
    • Perform opening, closing and change of shift specific duties, including: bar and kitchen set-up, cleaning, restocking, computer procedures, food and beverage prep.
    • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness standards of the café space according to health codes.
    • Manage the café cash drawer, with full responsibility for balancing and deposits.
    • Support inventory processes weekly and monthly.
    • Work cafe events, such as Movie Night at the Pool, Swim Meets, and Wine Night.

    Qualifications

    • Previous café or restaurant experience, as well as cash handling experience
    • Be passionate about customer service and working with a team

  • Membership Manager

    As the Membership Manager, you will work with a Team of up to 10 Membership Advisors and report to the COO. You will support and facilitate monthly sales promotions and marketing to promote and sell club memberships to corporations and individuals. You will lead and coach Membership Advisors to support them in achieving their individual goals, and will be responsible for overall club goals.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • To support and reinforce the Miramont Culture and the Miramont Brand at the highest level. -To model Purpose and Values in action every day, and use the Tools to engage in, and demonstrate, effective communication.
    • To establish clearly defined fiscal and numeric goals for Miramont Lifestyle Fitness; To be aware of the fiscal impact to the company of each decision. To share this information with the Executive Team in advance of the decision and after completion to confirm performance.
    • To develop and grow the business and the Miramont Lifestyle Fitness Brand. To study current business and fitness trends, identify and analyze the needs of the business, and evaluate potential growth opportunities.
    • To be directly responsible for the performance of Sales at each club.
    • To have clearly defined job descriptions for the Team members of each department for which you are directly responsible; To train and provide ongoing training, coaching and support to each Team member.
    • To conduct weekly individual and Team meetings with Team members for which you are directly responsible; To attend meetings with external marketing companies when necessary.
    • To coordinate the Membership Advisor schedules and ensure every shift is covered; even if you have to cover a shift.
    • To establish, monitor and analyze the Membership budget. To provide an overview of the Centerra budget.
    • To develop and implement expectations for the Membership department.
    • To develop and implement Retention and Referral Programs for the Membership department.
    • To complete and distribute to the Executive Board and the membership team the daily sales report.
    • To prepare month end reports including but not limited to comparative sales, cancel and net reports, members and cancels by source, and outreach summary report.
    •  To ensure that a detailed, daily schedule of work duties is current and maintained by reviewing InTouch and the shared drive.
    • To attend Team events and support the Team in doing the same.
    • To work to develop strong relationships with members and Team members, and commit to creating an On-Brand, enjoyable and inviting atmosphere for both members and Team.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years management experience appropriate to the position
    • 5+ years working in hospitality, fitness, or other customer service related industries

  • Sports Camp Counselor

    We are looking for aspiring professionals who are passionate about working with youth. This position is an ideal opportunity to grow professional skills, experience challenges that support personal growth, and build lifelong connections in a positive environment. Being a Camp Counselor is tough, incredibly fulling and worthwhile work.
    As a member of the camp team, your days will be filled with challenges, surprises and laughter. Cultivating growth within a group of campers isn’t easy and its incredibly important work. At camp, we work to develop an intentional community where each child is celebrated, known, and supported. We facilitate programming that helps our campers grow life skills and redefine their understanding of what they are capable of. At camp, we are a united and passionate team of youth development professionals working diligently to intentionally shape tomorrow’s leaders. It’s serious work for seriously fun and dedicated people!

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Counselors are responsible for facilitating FUN, engaging and skill building experiences for their team of campers. Camp experiences include: Learn to Play Sport Workshops, field trips, lunch, arts and crafts, swimming, Character First lessons, Fun with Food lessons, Kids Move classes, group development, and campfire games/skits.
    • In addition to facilitating regularly scheduled camp programming, camp counselors are responsible for creating the magic of camp! Filling the in-between times with spontaneous play and leveraging down time to build camp community and celebrate the positive contributions of campers.
    • Counselors are responsible for playing! Counselors actively participate and play alongside campers during Learn to Play Workshops: soccer, basketball, lacrosse, ultimate Frisbee, floor hockey, volleyball, flag football, and rock-climbing.
    • Counselors are youth development professionals who actively capture teachable moments to cultivate character growth within campers, leverage planning camp programming to build life skills within their campers, and work diligently to acknowledge, celebrate and encourage each camper each day.
    • Counselor are responsible for being role models! They teach campers to be patient by maintaining composure in the midst of challenges. They teach campers to be kind by including and encouraging others. They teach campers to be enthusiastic by joining in the play of camp. They teach campers to be responsible by cleaning up as they move throughout the facility. They teach campers to be team players by selflessly serving their fellow camp counselor. They actively influence camper growth through modeling the person they want their campers to become!
    • Counselors are responsible for safely transporting campers from Miramont’s South location to each week’s rock-climbing and field trip destinations.
    • Counselors maintain a comprehensive understanding of the specific needs of the campers in their care-allergies, swim ability, adults who have authorization to pick up campers, medical concerns, etc. Counselors work diligently to use the provided information to create a sense of well belonging for each camper in their care.
    • Counselors are responsible for building meaningful relationships with camp parents. Counselors connect with parents daily to share camper celebrations, to capture pertinent information, and to partner with parents to best support the growth of each child in their care.
    • Counselors are responsible for attending team meetings, on-going training opportunities and supporting team in moving camp operations A+ through growth at the individual, programming and team level.

    Qualifications

    • Must be 21 years or older
    • Must have one year of experience working in a licensed Camp/Childcare Program
    • Fluent in English
    • Must be passionate about working with children
    • Highly motivated and enthusiastic with communication and interpersonal skills
    • Physically capable of sustaining the endurance necessary to be active throughout the entirety of camp
    • Effective organizational skills
    • Available to work days full time Monday-Friday
    • Responsible for securing reliable transportation to and from work
    • Must be able to commit to the summer season, May 21 – August 18, 2017
  • Swim Lesson Instructor

    As a swim lesson instructor, you will work with the aquatics department at South and report to the aquatics manager. The expectation as a swim lesson instructor is that you provide students with safe, fun, and challenging classes.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provides safe, fun, and challenging classes
    • Prepares lesson plans appropriate to the class level and implements them in class so that planning and organization are evident and classes run smoothly
    • Completes and distributes certificates to students at the end of lesson sessions
    • Takes complete responsibility for scheduled hours and if necessary, follows the appropriate substitute procedures
    • Attends all department and sub-department meetings
    • Maintains a professional appearance and attitude
    • Works to keep pool deck clean and organized
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • WSI Certification
    • Experience teaching swimming lessons preferred
    • CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
  • Maintenance Team Member

    As a maintenance team member, you will work with the maintenance department and report to the Facilities Director to support all four locations to accomplish the upkeep of our buildings and equipment.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Must be proficient in painting
    • Able to patch and repair walls
    • Able to work with others as well as alone
    • Strong Attention to details
    • Superior organizational skills
    • Positive and upbeat attitude

    Qualifications

    • Basic plumbing knowledge
    • Basic electrical knowledge
    • Hours vary and shifts may be early mornings, nights, or weekends
  • Childcare Team Member

    As a Childcare Team Member, you will work in the nursery or clubhouse and report to the Childcare manager to support the South, North, and Central Childcare Teams to provide care for children ages 3 months – 12 years in a safe and playful environment.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for engaging with all children and parents with a positive, proactive, and respectful attitude
    • Responsible for working a minimum average of 15 hours per week to support the Team and operations within the department
    • Responsible for adhering to the Childcare policies and procedures at all Miramont Childcare locations
    • Establishes and participates in fun, high-energy, and age appropriate activities for all children
    • Establishes a safe environment and appropriately tends to the needs of children ages 3 mo. – 12 years of age.
    • Performs Zone Management functions and is accountable for ensuring the Childcare Zone is Brand (safe, clean, organized, and inviting) at all times
    • Responsible for adhering to all child check-in and check-out procedures, taking seriously the responsibility of caring for another person’s child
    •  Attends Team meetings and events and supports fellow Team members in doing the same
    •  Works in conjunction with the Childcare Manager to consistently grow and improve the department

    Qualifications

    • First Aid, BPT, and CPR – infant/child/adult certified
    • A strong understanding of child needs and development
    • 1+ year group childcare setting experience preferred
    • Healthy and physically fit
    • Literate in English and basic math
    • Highly motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    •  A strong understanding of Customer Service
    • Effective organizational skills
    • Available to work Saturday, Sunday, and weekday mornings (8am-2pm)
    • Responsible for securing reliable transportation to and from work among 3 locations
  • Licensed Esthetician

    As an esthetician you will work within the spa department at our South location and you will report to Jolee; spa coordinator. The expectation as an esthetician at Miramont is to provide exceptional service to the clients and be proficient at performing waxing, facials, spray tans, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Deliver a superior spa experience to both members and non-members
    • Perform all spa esthetic services including: waxing, facials, spray tans, body treatments, microdermabrasions, chemical peels, eyelash and brow tinting
    • Perform spa related duties including: cleaning room, restocking supplies, organizing intake forms and treatment notes
    • Will educate clients on products and at-home skincare needs
    • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of spa facilities

    Qualifications

    • Be a licensed esthetician

    • Be available to work a minimum of 10 hours each week, at least one shift till 7pm per week, and at least 10 hours per month on the weekend
    • Have or commit to obtaining Sanitas, Dermalogica, and Naturopathica product knowledge
  • Membership Advisor

    As a Membership Advisor, you will be a part of the sales department and report to the Membership Manager at your designated location. A Membership Advisor is responsible for selling membership for Miramont Lifestyle Fitness.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Generate Member Sales
    • Present and sell Miramont memberships, programs and services to current and potential clients within the community
    • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of sales to be made
    • Identify potential prospects and contact them
    • Develop and maintain sales materials and current membership product knowledge
    • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
    • Achieve monthly sales and retention goals
